NEWSLETTER TERMS

These Terms define the rules for providing the Newsletter service by byteway. By subscribing to the Newsletter, you accept the provisions of this document.

§ 1. General provisions

  1. The Newsletter service is provided free of charge for an indefinite period.
  2. The service operator and data controller is byteway Sp. z o.o. based in Warsaw, Poland (hereinafter: "Service Provider").
  3. The Newsletter contains educational content, industry information (AI, Data Engineering, Architecture), as well as commercial information about the Service Provider's services and products.

§ 2. Service conditions

  1. To use the Newsletter service, you need:
    • An active email account.
    • Access to a device connected to the Internet.
  2. Service subscription is made by:
    • Filling out the subscription form available on byteway.io.
    • Confirming your subscription by clicking the activation link sent to the provided email address (Double Opt-In model).

§ 3. Personal data (GDPR)

  1. The data controller is the Service Provider.
  2. Data is processed solely for the purpose of sending the Newsletter based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent of the data subject).
  3. Providing data is voluntary but necessary to provide the service.
  4. Data recipients may include entities operating the Service Provider's IT systems (e.g., email delivery system provider).
  5. Detailed information about data processing can be found in the Privacy Policy.

§ 4. Unsubscribing from the service

  1. Users can unsubscribe from the Newsletter service at any time without giving a reason.
  2. Unsubscription is done by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each email or by contacting the Service Provider directly.
  3. Email address removal from the subscriber database happens immediately.

§ 5. Complaints

  1. Complaints regarding the Newsletter service can be submitted electronically at: hello@byteway.io.
  2. The Service Provider will review the complaint within 14 days of receiving it.

§ 6. Final provisions

  1. The Service Provider reserves the right to change these Terms. Subscribers will be informed about significant changes by email.
  2. Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Polish law.
